N.A.W.A. is represented in 42 of the 50 States with members working in a variety of mediums within the visual arts. Currently, more than 800 women artists from across the United States are members of the organization.
Benefits of membership include, exhibition opportunities in juried and curated exhibitions in New York City and nationwide in museums, university galleries, commercial galleries and art centers, exhibition awards totaling upwards of $10,000 annually, educational programs including lectures, panels and salons, and the opportunity to submit artwork to the N.A.W.A. permanent collection at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutger's University.
